Handbuilding

Always wanted to try pottery, but starting on the wheel feels a little intimidating?
Then this course is perfect for you!

What to expect:

• Duration: 2.5 hours

• Price: €55 per person

• Optional glazing day: €11 per person
  Glaze your own piece using multiple colours, patterns, and creative techniques.

• Languages: Dutch, German or English

• Group size: 4–8 people

In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn all the basics of working with clay in a relaxed and creative environment. I’ll guide you through different handbuilding techniques, including slab building, coiling and modelling, and help you develop your own design from scratch.

No previous experience is needed. Together, we’ll explore the possibilities of clay and build your confidence as you create something that is uniquely yours.

Handbuilding is a wonderfully versatile technique that allows you to make beautiful, functional and sculptural pieces without ever having touched clay before.

So don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner — just bring your creativity, and I’ll take care of the rest!
